Gali Eytan is a Franco-Israeli photographer whose practice moves between portraiture, craftsmanship, food and still life. After studying at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, including an exchange year at the School of Visual Arts in New York, she began her career photographing portraits for newspapers and magazines.
Her work is rooted in close observation and an interest in people, gestures, materials and creative processes. Through light, colour and detail, she seeks to reveal the atmosphere and emotion surrounding a person, a place or an object.
Working across editorial, commercial and institutional commissions, she has collaborated with a wide range of clients. Her photographs have appeared in publications including ELLE France, Version Femina, Haaretz, Yedioth Ahronoth and Tenoua.
She is also the photographer and author behind Israelis in Paris, an ongoing portrait and interview series published regularly in Tenoua, exploring identity, belonging and the experience of living between cultures ; https://tenoua.org/author/gali-eytan/
Her work has been exhibited in France, Florence and Tel Aviv, including Semper — La tradizione di domani, Made in Paris Centre, Couvreurs parisiens, artisans d’art and Still Alive. She has also participated in the International Festival of Culinary Photography in Paris and exhibited at the New Gallery of Tel Aviv University. In October 2026, her work will be presented in the exhibition Manger les images at the Mucem in Marseille.
Based in France, she works between Paris, Tel Aviv and internationally.

Gali Eytan est une photographe franco-israélienne dont le travail se situe à la croisée du portrait, des métiers d’art, de la photographie culinaire et de la nature morte. Après des études à l’École des Beaux-Arts de Paris, comprenant une année d’échange à la School of Visual Arts de New York, elle débute sa carrière en réalisant des portraits pour la presse et les magazines.
Son travail repose sur une observation attentive et un intérêt particulier pour les personnes, les gestes, les matières et les processus de création. À travers la lumière, la couleur et le détail, elle cherche à révéler l’atmosphère et l’émotion qui entourent une personne, un lieu ou un objet.
Elle réalise des commandes éditoriales, commerciales et institutionnelles pour des clients aux univers variés. Ses photographies ont notamment été publiées dans ELLE France, Version Femina, Haaretz, Yedioth Ahronoth et Tenoua.
Elle est également la photographe et l’autrice d’Israéliens à Paris, une série régulière de portraits et d’entretiens publiée dans Tenoua, qui explore les questions d’identité, d’appartenance et l’expérience d’une vie entre plusieurs cultures.
Son travail a été exposé en France, à Florence et à Tel-Aviv, notamment dans le cadre de Semper — La tradizione di domani, Made in Paris Centre, Couvreurs parisiens, artisans d’art et Still Alive. Elle a également participé au Festival international de la photographie culinaire à Paris et exposé à la New Gallery de l’université de Tel-Aviv. En octobre 2026, son travail sera présenté dans l’exposition Manger les images au Mucem, à Marseille.
Basée en France, elle travaille à Paris, à Tel-Aviv et à l’international.
